Founder of the practice, Dr. William Benninger provided compassionate and comprehensive psychological services and care to children, adolescents, and adults for 45 years. He officially retired from private practice in May 2023.
Dr. William Benninger is a former Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at The Ohio State University with over 40 years of clinical experience in treating ADHD, related learning disorders, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder in children, adolescents, and adults. He has several academic publications which focus on adolescent behavior problems, working memory training, and supporting teachers in recognizing psychological and behavioral problems in youth. Dr. Benninger has lectured nationally and internationally on the role of understanding, diagnosing, and treating ADHD in children, adolescents and adults to health professionals and educators. He has appeared on CNN and TV France.

Dr. Bill will continue to provide a few services including the Cogmed Program and the ADHD/ODD parent group. Drs. Bill and Tara will also be lecturing nationally to professionals on the evaluation and treatment of adults, adolescents and children with ADHD and related disorders through the California-based Institute for Brain Potential
